For you

Searches that fit you, best first

Ranked by mutual fit: how well you fit the team, and how well the team fits you. Each card shows which criteria fit and which do not.

We email you when new searches fit, as often as you choose. The people in these screenshots are fictional, their portraits generated with AI.

Why it fits

Read the search, and why it fits

Problem, solution, traction, the company and the team, and both directions of the fit: what you look for, and what the team looks for.

Intros

Write a short note on why this venture. The founder sees your full name, your links, your terms and your note, and answers within 14 days. Founders can invite you too. Email and phone are shared only when both say yes.

Questions from co-founders

Is it really free?

Yes. Your profile, the suggestions and your intros cost nothing, during the beta and after.

Do I need an idea of my own?

No. You join a venture that already has one. If you would rather build your own idea, choose “I'm building a start-up” when you sign up and publish a co-founder search.

Will my employer see that I am looking?

Your profile is never public. Members see your first name, role, city and what you write about yourself. Your full name and links follow only in intros you send or accept. And you can switch your availability off at any time.

How much time do I need to commit?

You say how many hours a week you can give: under 20, 20 to 40, or 40 and more. Each search says what it expects, and the fit score compares the two. You can start while you still have a job and say so in your profile.

What about equity and salary?

That is between you and the founders. You set the equity range you expect and whether you need a salary: none, partial or full. Searches state what they offer, and the fit score shows where you agree. Our cap table calculator shows what a share means after funding rounds.

How many intros can I request?

Up to 5 open requests at a time. Founders have 14 days to answer, and we remind them. If they decline or don't answer, you get a neutral notice and the slot frees up.

What happens after a match?

You both get full names, email and phone. Most co-founder matches start with a first call and a small trial project. 14 days later we ask both of you how it went.
